The Product Stewardship (Oil) Act 2000 establishes the general framework and benefit entitlements of the Product Stewardship for Oil program. The Act, which came into effect in January 2001, requires an independent review of the legislation at intervals of not longer than 4 years. The first review was completed in May 2004.
