A set of Administrative Guidelines covers the operation of the Product Stewardship Benefits and the Transitional Assistance mechanism. These guidelines set out the objectives, administrative requirements and funding allocations for the Product Stewardship for Oil Program (PSO), and covered the processes of applying for Transitional Assistance funding. Grants awarded under the Transitional Assistance mechanism included funding for public awareness campaigns, oil recycling technologies and establishment of more than 950 used oil collection facilities across Australia.
